About Digital SAT
Digital SAT (D-SAT) is an international standardized test conducted for securing admission in universities and colleges, primarily in the United States, and many other countries. The full form of SAT has witnessed several changes in the due course of history, but at present, it is termed simply the SAT.
The purpose of D-SAT is to measure high school students' readiness for university or college admissions and provide the institutions with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants' academic potential.
It is a multiple choice, computer-based, and multi-stage adaptive test. Its score is also accepted in the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore and Canada. It is held 7 times a year in most countries.
Quick Facts About the Digital SAT
- The SAT Suite of Assessments has adapted to meet students' and educators' changing needs.
- Students may use their own laptops (Windows or macOS), iPads, school-owned desktops & laptops, and school-managed Chromebooks.
- More than 4,000 Colleges and Universities in the U.S. and many other countries consider Digital SAT scores to help them make informed admission decisions.
