A2 level, you can understand more complex sentences and communicate in more detail. You can understand simple texts and information in everyday materials like brochures or emails. Furthermore, you can comprehend spoken German in everyday situations.
You can hold conversations on a wide range of topics, express your opinions, and discuss daily life, work, and leisure activities with relative ease. Read and understand moderately complex texts, including news articles, short stories, and business documents, without much difficulty.
Understand the main points of complex standard input on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in your field of specialization. Have a conversation with a native German speaker. Write clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue.
You can understand complex, longer texts and recognise implicit meaning. Express yourself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations. Write clearly. Translate from German into your native language and vice versa.
C2 level German is the highest level of the CEFR. It is considered a mastery level of language proficiency in German language exam levels. As one of the highest proficiency levels in language learning, the C2 level German exam is considered extremely challenging.
